Terms of use
Coursework helps you plan and study. You’re responsible for your own coursework and deadlines, AI can be wrong, and you can cancel Pro any time.
Your account
You must be at least 13 to use Coursework (and have a parent’s or guardian’s permission if you’re under 18 where the law requires it). Keep your sign-in secure; you’re responsible for activity on your account. You can delete it at any time in Settings.
Your deadlines and grades are your responsibility
Coursework shows what you enter or import. Always check due dates, times and grades against your syllabus, your school’s learning system and your instructors. Grade goals are a simple points estimate and may differ from how your class is actually graded. We are not responsible for missed deadlines, wrong dates or grade outcomes.
AI study tools
Lessons, flashcards, quizzes and explanations made by AI can contain mistakes, especially for math, science and diagrams. Check important facts against your class materials. Only paste material you have the right to use. Don’t use Coursework to cheat: follow your school’s academic integrity rules, and don’t use AI output where your instructor doesn’t allow it. AI use is limited (Free: 3 study sets in total; Pro: 300 a month and 30 a day) and may be paused if the service is overloaded.
Coursework Pro
- Price: $5.99 per month or $39.99 per year in the US (plus any tax), shown before you pay.
- Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price until you cancel. We’ll tell you before any price change applies to you.
- Cancel any time: on the web, Settings → Manage billing; on iPhone, Settings › your name › Subscriptions. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds: web payments are not refunded for partial periods except where the law requires; email us if something went wrong and we’ll make it right. iPhone purchases are refunded by Apple under its policies.
- On iPhone, the app is licensed to you under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement together with these terms.
Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the service: no attempts to break, overload or get around limits, no access to other people’s data, and nothing unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.
Your content
You own what you put in Coursework. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you (including sending it to our AI provider when you ask). See the privacy policy.
No warranty and limits on liability
Coursework is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work hard to keep it running and backed up, but can’t promise it will be error-free or always available. To the fullest extent the law allows, BrightWeb Solutions isn’t liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Not affiliated with your school
Coursework is independent. It isn’t connected to, endorsed by or a replacement for any school, university or learning platform such as Canvas, iCollege/D2L or Blackboard.
Changes and contact
